This virtual design service offers clients a simple and affordable way to complete a room makeover. All communication is conducted via email, starting with the client completing a questionnaire which outlines and defines the project. designSTORY then provides two preliminary mood boards, a final design board so the client can visualize how the space will come together, a shopping list with direct links to product selections, a floor plan, and any applicable installation instructions.
In-home consultation to review design goals one-on-one with the client, establish project scope, and take measurements/photos. Subsequent to the initial meeting, two preliminary mood boards will be emailed to the client to confirm the design direction. Based on feedback from the client, a penultimate design will be presented, with another opportunity (by phone or email) to discuss and refine the final design. A custom design board will then be provided, accompanied by a shopping list with direct links to product selections, a floor plan, and any applicable installation instructions. Coordination of all purchasing, deliveries, and installation is available at an additional cost. In-home design is available in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Staging: Full-Service or Consultation Only
Staging consultation is available as a simple one-time, flat-fee, virtual or in-home meeting. We will discuss how to make the most of the client's existing home furnishings with the least amount of additional investment, including room layouts and editing the space so it presents well to others. designSTORY will also suggest any cosmetic upgrades that would significantly improve how the home shows to potential buyers.
Additionally, designSTORY offers full-service staging, which includes procurement and installation of rental furnishings and coordinating storage of client's own furnishings. Full-service staging is available in the San Francisco Bay Area.
